In December 1972, right after the declaration of the Yushin order, the underground newspaper Hamseong, which criticized the Yushin constitution, was distributed throughout CNU and downtown Gwangju. Hamseong was the first handout that resisted the Yushin order, but Lee Kang (Department of Law 69’), who led the publication was caught the following year while trying to distribute it nationwide under the changed title of Gobal.
