전남대518연구소가 2005년도 학술진흥재단 중점연구소로 선정되었습니다. 이에 따라 2005년 12월부터 학진의 연구비를 지원 받아, 앞으로 9년 동안 “아시아의 민주주의와 인권” (Democracy and Human Rights in Asia)이라는 과제를 연구해 갈 것입니다. 실제 연구는 총괄연구책임자(연구소 소장 최영태)를 두고, 두 개의 세부과제로 나누어 진행됩니다. 제1세부과제는 ‘국가폭력과 저항운동:이론과 유형’, 제2세부과제는 ‘참여민주주의:이론과 실천’입니다. 자세한 사항=> 연구소현황-> 보도자료
